I write the same review for each of these books, cutting and pasting as I go. I've bought every one of David Harris Walker's works in the Greek New Testament, each a masterpiece. This man has poured his life into helping the rest of the world find an easier path to biblical Greek. He has done all the work of defining principle words right there on the page where the reader's eye rests at any moment. Verse by verse he lists the keys words and follows this by indicaitng their gender, number, and definition. He also, as an extremely useful bonus, shows how words derive etymoligically from others, as, for example, the noun prophaytays (prophet) from the verb prophyamee (to speak forth). The upshot is that he saves the student the grind of reaching for and searching through grammar, lexicon, and commentary. All the diacritical marks are there to help the reader with pronunciation and accent. To this wonderful apparatus he adds a clear, guiding preface, a one-touch index, and a feature entitled "Vocabulary Frequently Contained in Lexicons and Grammars." Herein he lists and clearly defines all those bookish terms so rife in Lexicons and thus makes them---at last---useful and understandable tools.I rise up and bless David Walker. By subtracting midnight hours from his life he has added hours to all of ours. And the price? Phenomenally inexpensive. Thank you, David Harris Walker a thousand fold.
